The peak of passenger arrivals or backflow from holidays is expected to occur on Sunday, November 1, 2020, with the number of passengers going to increase by more, reaching 112,000 passengers.

The government has finally released incentives for airlines to counteract the impact of the spread of the coronavirus on the tourism sector. This flood of incentives will concretely result in airline ticket discounts of up to 50%.
Director-General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation Novie Riyanto explained that this discount applies to all flights that have routes to 10 tourist destinations.
The 10 destinations are in full as follows:

- Yogyakarta
- Labuan Bajo
- Lombok
- Poor
- Manado
- Cross
- Tanjung Pandan
- Tanjung Pinang
This discount applies with a quota of 25% of the total maximum capacity for each flight. The discount applies to different amounts for each flight class.
For full-service flights, the discount is pegged at 45% of the ticket price. Furthermore, medium class flights reach 48%, and low-cost carrier (LCC) is pegged at 50% of the ticket price.
This discount is planned to take effect from March 2020 for the next 3 months. This means that the discount will be valid throughout March, April, and May 2020. This discount is valid every day including weekends.
